Wisnefske endorses Waelti in
80th

MONROE
- Kris Wisnefske today announced her endorsement of the man
who defeated her in the Sept. 9 Democratic primary for the
80th Assembly District seat.
Wisnefske urged her
supporters to back fellow Monroe Democrat John Waelti in the
Nov. 4 general election against incumbent Rep. Brett Davis,
R-Oregon.
"It is important for us to unite as Democrats
here in the 80th," Wisnefske said in a news release. "I wish
him and his campaign the best of luck, and will help him out
as much as possible."
Waelti said Wisnefske ran "a
fantastic race" and said her support means a lot to
him.
"She and I are ready to work together for our
friends and neighbors to get them the affordable, accessible
health care, increasing tax fairness and creating and keeping
jobs here at home," he said.
The 80th Assembly District
includes all of Green County, and parts of Dane, Lafayette and
Rock counties.
