Daughter, Martha Waelti, (my aunt). Martha married Conrad Elmer. Martha's daughter, Mardelle, married T.R. Holyoke, Jr. Their son, Dennis, and wife, Lori, live on Feldt Road north of Monroe. Martha's son, Connie Jr. (popularly known as "Ike"), lives on South Main, in Monticello.

Mother, Sabina Sopie Waelti, (my grandmother), emigrated from the Village of Elm in Canton Glarus, Switzerland.

Father, Johann Waelti, (my grandfather), emigrated from Thune in Canton Bern, Switzerland.

Daughter, Rosa Waelti Gruenewald, (my aunt). Rosa's son, Norm, and wife, Millie, live on County SS, in Sylvester Township. Rosa's daughter, Helen, lives in Janesville.

Son, John Waelti, (my father). His son, Louie, lives on home farm north of Monroe. His son, John (yours truly), is now running for 80th Assembly District. His grandson, (my son) John, is a corporate communications specialist; Kingston, Wisconsin. His granddaughter (my daughter), Kara, is a registered nurse, recently commissioned a Captain in the U.S. Army.

Son, Albert Waelti, (my uncle). His son, Kenny (deceased) married Gertrude Pinnow. She lives in Monroe. His daughter, Evelyn, married George Lawver (both now deceased). His daughter, Midge, married Bill Buehler (both now deceased).

Son, Emil Waelti, (my uncle), now deceased.

Son, Sam Waelti, (my uncle). His daughter, Norma Waelti, married Dr. John Francis. They now live in Florida.
